- Simply call the office at 516-791-9010 to inform us about your symptoms or other reason for a COVID-19 test.
- You will be screened and asked to complete a COVID-19 screener and all on-line preregistration forms. The two tests offered will be explained as well as the differences between them.
- You will then schedule an appointment for a telemedicine evaluation. Informed consent will be explained and obtained. You will also be given COVID-19 counseling and education, guidance on next steps, and encouraged to ask questions.
- You will then have the opportunity to schedule an appointment for Drive Through COVID-19 testing.
- Sofia Rapid Antigen Nasal Swab Test results are available in 15 minutes. Please only wait in your car while you are waiting for your results. Once your results are available, Dr. Hausmann will call you to interpret your results, provide guidance about next steps, additional COVID-19 counseling and education and encourage you to ask questions.
- COVID-19 Molecular PCR Nasal Swab test will be sent to Northwell Health Labs and results are available within a few days.

- Dr. Hausmann will personally call each patient to follow-up to see how you are feeling and give you another opportunity to ask questions.
